Chapter 11 · Verse 1352
सुप्रावीर् अस्तु स क्षयः प्र नु यामन्त् सुदान- वः. ये नो अँन्होइ᳓तिपिप्रति
O self-refulgent Adityas, immortal powers of light, generous givers of wisdom and vision, who protect us from sin and darkness, may that home, homeland and dominion of ours be protected, protective and full of peace throughout our paths of onward progress.
हे तेजस्वी आदित्यगण, जो हमें पाप और अंधकार से बचाते हैं, हमारी भूमि और हमारा निवास स्थान हमारी प्रगति के पथ पर सुरक्षित, रक्षक और शांतिपूर्ण बना रहे।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1353
उत स्वराजो अदितिर् अदब्धस्य व्रतस्य ये. महो राजान ईशते
Maho råjåna ∂‹ate. And the self-refulgent Adityas, self-governing and great imperishable ruling powers of nature, and mother Infinity, who observe and maintain the great law of existence and disciplines of life, may guide us and protect us over the paths of progress.
हे सर्वव्यापी, अविनाशी सत्य के व्रतों का पालन करने वाले, स्वयं प्रकाशित आदित्यगण, हमें प्रगति के पथ पर ले चलें और रक्षा करें।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1354
उ त्वा मन्दन्तु सोमाः कृणुष्व राधो अद्रिवः. अव ब्रह्मद्विषो जहि
Indra, lord almighty, commander, controller and inspirer of clouds, mountains and great men of generosity, may our hymns of adoration win your pleasure. Pray create and provide means and methods of sustenance and progress in life, and cast off jealousies and enmities against divinity, knowledge and prayer, our bond between human and divine.
हे ब्रह्मद्वेषियों को नष्ट करने वाले, हे इन्द्र, हमारी स्तुतियों से प्रसन्न होइए।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1355
पदा पणीन् अराधसो नि बाधस्व महाँन् असि. न हि त्वा कश्चन प्रति
Na hi två ka‹cana prati. Keep off under foot the haves who hoard and share not. You are great, simply great, the only one. There is none equal, alike or more.
हे महान् प्रभु, जो धन संचय करते हैं और दान नहीं करते, उन्हें अपने चरणों के नीचे दबाओ, क्योंकि आपके समान कोई नहीं है।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1356
त्वम् ईशिषे सुतानाम् इन्द्र त्वम् असुतानाम्. त्वं राजा जनानाम्
Tva≈ råjå janånåm. You rule over the creative and cooperative men of positive action. You rule over the uncreative and destructive men of negative action as well. Indra, you are the ruler, the ultimate ordainer of good and evil both.
हे इन्द्र, आप सृजनशील और सहकारी मनुष्यों के शासक हैं, और आप ही विनाशकारी मनुष्यों के भी शासक हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1357
Å जागृविर् विप्र ऋतं मतीनां सोमः पुनानो असदच् चम्ञुषु. सपन्ति यम् मिथुनासो निकामा अध्वर्यवो रथिरासः सुहस्ताः
Ever wakeful, all intelligent, ever true, pure, purifying and celebrated, Soma abides in the heart core of the visionary sages, and him, loving yajakas dedicated to yajna of love and non-violence, noble of action commanding their body chariot of personality, together of their mind and soul.
हे अध्वर्युओं, तुम सदा जागृत, सर्वज्ञ, सत्यनिष्ठ, शुद्ध, पवित्र करने वाले और पूजनीय सोम को हृदय में धारण करो, जो यज्ञ के प्रेम और अहिंसा के प्रति समर्पित हैं, वे अपने व्यक्तित्व रूपी रथ को सुचारू रूप से चलाते हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1358
स पुनान उप स्ञुरे दधान ओभे अप्रा रोदसी वी ष आवः. प्रिया चिद् यस्य प्रियसास ञुती सतो धनम् कारिणे न प्र यँन्सत्
That Soma, pure and purifying, creator and sustainer, pervades and fills the heaven and earth as it abides in the sun and destroys darkness and ignorance. Dearer than dear are its powers for our protection for sure. May Soma give us wealth, honour and excellence as one would give wealth to the artist.
वह सोम, शुद्ध और पवित्र करने वाला, स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी को व्याप्त करता है, सूर्य में स्थित होकर अंधकार और अज्ञान का नाश करता है; वह निश्चित रूप से हमारी रक्षा के लिए प्रिय से भी अधिक प्रिय है, और जैसे कारीगर को धन देता है, वैसे ही हमें धन, सम्मान और उत्कृष्टता प्रदान करे।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1359
स वर्धिता वर्धनः प्ञुयमानः सोमो मीढ्वाँन् अभि नो ज्योतिषावित्. यत्र नः प्ञुर्वे पितरः पदज्¤आः स्वर्विदो अभि गा अद्रिम् इष्णन्
Soma, exalted and exalting, pure and purifying, virile and generous, may, we pray, protect and promote us with the light of knowledge by which our forefathers, knowing the meaning and purpose of life step by step with a passionate desire for knowledge, rising to the sun, attained to the ultimate freedom and bliss of heaven.
हे सोम! वर्धनशील, पवित्र और बलवान् होकर, ज्ञान के प्रकाश से हमारा कल्याण करो, जिससे हमारे पूर्वज, जीवन के अर्थ को भलीभाँति जानकर, सूर्य की ओर बढ़ते हुए, परम पद को प्राप्त हुए।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1360
मा चिदन्यद्वि शँन्सत सखायो मा रिषण्यत. इन्द्रमित् स्तोता वृषणं सचा सुते मुहुरुक्था च शँन्सत
Indramit stotå væ¶aƒa≈ sacå sute muhurukthå ca ‹a~nsata. absolute, omnipotent and infinitely generous, and when you have realised the bliss of the lord's presence, sing songs of divine adoration spontaneously, profusely, again and again.
हे मित्र, तुम मुझे मत छोड़ो, और मुझे चोट मत पहुँचाओ।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1361
अवक्रक्षिणं वृषभं यथा जुवं गां न चर्षणीसहम्. विद्वेषणं सम्वननम् उभयΔकरं मँन्हिष्ंहम् उभयाविनम्
He is profusely and potently generous, patient and forbearing giver of peace and nourishment to people like the meek cow and motherly earth, saviour from hate and jealousy, most adorable, giver of both material well being (abhyudaya) and spiritual freedom (nihshreyas), most munificent and majestic, and lord ruler and protector of both nature and the soul.
हे भगवन, आप भक्त के लिए सुरक्षा हेतु और शत्रु के लिए दंड हेतु, अत्यंत उदार, धैर्यवान, शांति और पोषण प्रदान करने वाले, द्वेष और ईर्ष्या से मुक्ति दिलाने वाले, अत्यंत पूजनीय, अभ्युदय और निःश्रेयस दोनों प्रदान करने वाले हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1362
उदु त्ये मधुमत्तमा गिरः स्तोमास ईरते. सत्राजितो धनसा अक्षितोतयो वाजयन्तो रथा इव
Satråjito dhanaså ak¶itotayo våjayanto rathå iva. The sweetest of honeyed songs of praise and vibrations of homage rise to you flying like victorious, unviolated and invincible chariots laden with gold heading for higher destinations.
हे भगवन, आपके लिए मधुर स्तुतियों और जयघोषों के गीत विजयी रथों की भांति उठते हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1363
कण्वा इव भृगवः स्ञुर्या इव विश्वम् इद् धीतम् आशत. इन्द्रं स्तोमेभिर् महयन्त आयवः प्रियमेधासो अस्वरन्
priyamedhåso asvaran. Brilliant scholars and sages as well as brave heroes of the human nation and loving and intelligent citizens of the land, praising and exalting Indra in one vaulting voice, rise and reach the presence of the lord in a world their own like rays of the sun filling the world of space they know.
हे भगवन्, काण्व ऋषियों के समान तेजस्वी विद्वान और सूर्य के समान समस्त विश्व को धारण करने वाले आप ही हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1364
पर्य्ञु षु प्र धन्व वाजसातये परि वृत्राणि सक्षणिः. द्विषस्तरध्या ऋणया न ईरसे
O Soma, vibrant Spirit of life, victor over evils and darkness, move on with us, inspiring and energising us for the achievement of food, energy and enlightenment, for elimination of malignity, negativities and contra-dictions, with the obligation that we pay the debts and never overdraw on our karmic account.
हे सोम, जीवन के प्राणस्वरूप, बुराइयों और अंधकार पर विजय पाने वाले, हमें अन्न, ऊर्जा और ज्ञान की प्राप्ति के लिए प्रेरित और ऊर्जावान करते हुए, द्वेष और विरोध को दूर करने के लिए आगे बढ़ें।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1365
अजीजनो हि पवमान स्ञुर्यं विधारे शक्मना पयः. गोजीरया रँन्हमाणः पुरन्ध्या
Soma, pure, purifying and dynamic by your essential omnipotence, mighty moving with cosmic you create the sun, generate bio-energy in all containing space and set in motion the stars and planets of the universe.
हे सोम, तुम सर्वव्यापी शक्ति से सूर्य को धारण करते हो, समस्त लोकों में ऊर्जा उत्पन्न करते हो और ब्रह्मांड को गतिमान करते हो।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1366
अनु हि त्वा सुतं सोम मदामसि महे समर्- यराज्ये. वाजाँन् अभि पवमान प्र गाहसे
While you are with us at heart, O Soma, spirit of constant peaceful life, we rejoice with you in the great common-wealth order of governance where, dynamic, pure and purifying, you ever advance to victories in honour, excellence and glory.
हे सोम, हम आपके साथ आनंदित होते हैं, महान सार्वभौमिक शासन में, जहाँ आप विजय की ओर बढ़ते हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1367
परि प्र धन्व इन्द्राय सोम स्वादुर् मित्राय प्ञुष्णे भगाय
O Soma, come and inspire as the most delicious psychic and spiritual experience for the soul and the nation, for friends, for the sustaining guardians and for the spirit of honour and glory of humanity.
हे सोम! राष्ट्र, मित्र, भरण-पोषण करने वाले रक्षक और मानवता के सम्मान व गौरव की आत्मा के लिए, अत्यंत मधुर आध्यात्मिक अनुभव के रूप में प्रकट हो।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1368
एवामृताय महे क्षयाय स शुक्रो अर्ष दिव्यः पीय्ञुषः
Thus for immortality, for great dominion and for highest ascension, may that pure, potent and celestial Soma presence flow and radiate as the sweetest taste of life.
अमरत्व, महान प्रभुत्व और परम उत्थान के लिए, वह पवित्र, शक्तिशाली और दिव्य सोम जीवन के मधुरतम स्वाद के रूप में प्रवाहित हो।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1369
इन्द्रस् ते सोम सुतस्य पेयात् क्रत्वे दक्षाय विश्वे च देवाः
Soma, spirit of glory and grandeur, loved, realised and reverenced, let Indra, the ruling soul, experience the ecstasy for noble action and efficiency. Let all divinities of the world enjoy the divine presence.
हे सोम, इन्द्र देव, सभी देवगण, इस सोम रस का पान कर, शक्ति और सामर्थ्य प्राप्त करें।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1370
स्ञुर्यस्येव रश्मयो द्रावयित्नवो मत्सरासः प्रस्ञुतः साकम् ईरते. तन्तुं ततं परि सर्- गास आशवो नेन्द्राद् ऋते पवते धाम कि¤ चन
The dynamics of the lord's creation instantly in motion, energising the sleeping existences, joyous and joyously moving everything to ecstatic being, all together move across the web of life conceived and created by the lord omnipotent, Indra. Not without Indra sacred as it is.
सूर्य की किरणों के समान, ये आनंदित शक्तियाँ तुरंत गतिमान होकर, सोई हुई सत्ता को ऊर्जावान करती हैं, और सब कुछ को परम आनंद की ओर ले जाती हैं; यह सब इंद्र के द्वारा रचित जीवन के ताने-बाने में चलता है, इंद्र के बिना कुछ भी नहीं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1371
उपो मतिः पृच्यते सिच्यते मधु मन्द्राजनी चोदते अन्तरासनि. पवमानः सन्तनिः सुन्व- तामिव मधुमान् द्रप्सः परि वारम् अर्षति
When the mind is joined in concentration with divinity, honey is released and pours forth, divine ecstasy stirs in the heart within, and the continuous stream of soma, overflowing with joy like the uninterrupted ecstasy of the yogis of perfect renunciation, showers upon the blessed soul.
जब मन परमात्मा में एकाग्र होता है, तो मधु का प्रवाह होता है, हृदय में दिव्य आनंद जागृत होता है, और आनंद से परिपूर्ण सोम का निरंतर प्रवाह आत्मा पर बरसता है।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1372
उक्षा मिमेति प्रति यन्ति धेनवो देवस्य देवीर् उप यन्ति निष्कृतम्. अत्यक्रमीद् अर्जुनं वारम् अव्ययम् अत्कम् न निक्तं परि सोमो अव्यत
The generous virile soul overflowing with soma joy vibrates with Infinity, the senses having returned inward like cows to the stall. The enlightened mind and thoughts of the holy soul unite with the hallowed centre of the spirit. The soul breaks through its existential cover, returns to its original imperishable purity, and Soma protects it as a pilgrim cleansed and redeemed.
यह आत्मा सोम के आनंद से परिपूर्ण होकर अनंत में स्पंदित होती है, इंद्रियाँ गौशाला में लौटती हुई गायों की तरह भीतर की ओर मुड़ जाती हैं। आत्मा अपने अस्तित्व के आवरण को भेदकर, पवित्र आत्मा के केंद्र से जुड़ जाती है।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1373
अग्निं नरो दीधितिभिर् अरण्योर् हस्तच्युतं जनयत प्रशस्तम्. द्ञुरेदृशं गृहपतिम् अथव्युम्
O leading lights of yajna, let the people produce fire by the heated friction of arani woods done with the manual motion of hands. Fire is an admirable power seen from afar and shining far and wide, sustaining home life like a guardian, silent, implicit in nature but dynamic. Further create this domestic energy by your acts of research and intelligence.
हे यज्ञ के प्रकाशक, हाथों के घर्षण से उत्पन्न होने वाले अरणि काष्ठ से श्रेष्ठ अग्नि को उत्पन्न करो, जो दूर से दिखने वाली, घर की रक्षा करने वाली और गतिशील है।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1374
तमग्निमस्ते वसवो न्यृण्वन्त्सुप्रतिचक्षम् अवसे कुतश्चित्. दक्षाय्यो यो दम आस नित्यः
The energy of fire and electricity, scholars of basic science and original vision produce for domestic purpose or for communication and transportation somehow from something they know best. It is of versatile use for defence and protection, universal in nature and character, and an all purpose asset in the home for any service.
हे अग्निदेव, वसुगणों ने आपको रक्षा के लिए, सर्वत्र सुलभ और सर्वव्यापी बनाया है, जो घर और समाज के लिए नित्य उपयोगी हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1375
प्रेद्धो अग्ने दीदिहि पुरो नोइ᳓जस्रया स्ञुर्म्या यविष्ंह. त्वां शश्वन्त उप यन्ति वाजाः
O fire divine, ever youthful power and presence, well kindled and raised, shine on, radiate and illuminate us, constantly, through the continuous channel of nature's dynamics. All things in constant motion reach you and flow on in the cosmic cycle.
हे प्रदीप्त अग्नि, हे युवा शक्ति, हमारे सामने प्रकाशित हो, सभी गतिशील वस्तुएं तुम्हारे पास आती हैं और तुम्हारे द्वारा संचालित होती हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1377
अन्तश् चरति रोचनास्य प्राणाद् अपानती. व्यख्यन् महिषो दिवम्
Vyakhyan mahi¶o divam. The light of this sun radiates from morning till evening like the prana and apana of the cosmic body illuminating the mighty heaven and filling the space between heaven and earth.
यह सूर्य का प्रकाश प्राणापान की भांति प्रकाशित होता है।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1378
त्रीँन्शद् धाम वि राजति वाक्पतΔगाय धीयते. प्रति वस्तोरह द्युभिः
Prati vastoraha dyubhi¨. Thirty stages of the day from every morning to evening does the sun rule with the rays of its light while songs of adoration are raised and offered to the mighty 'Bird' of heavenly space. (Rg. 10-189-3)
सूर्य अपनी किरणों से दिन-रात शासन करता है, और उसकी स्तुति में गीत गाए जाते हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1379
उपप्रयन्तो अध्वरं मन्त्रं वोचे- माग्नये. Åरे अस्मे च शृण्वते
Moving close to the vedi of the yajna of love and non-violence, let us chant holy words of thought and devotion in praise of Agni, lord of light and yajna who listens to us from far as well as near.
हे अग्निदेव, हम यज्ञ की वेदी के समीप आकर प्रेम और अहिंसा के मंत्रों का उच्चारण करते हैं, जो दूर और पास से हमारी प्रार्थनाएँ सुनते हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1380
यः स्नीहितीषु प्ञुर्व्यः स¤जग्मानासु कृष्तिषु. अरक्षद् दाशुषे गयम्
Arak¶ad då‹u¶e gayam. Agni is the eternal lord of yajna who, in gatherings of people meeting for the purpose of fellowship and yajna of love, protects and promotes the wealth of the generous yajamana.
हे अग्निदेव, आप यज्ञों में सर्वदा उपस्थित रहकर, उदार यजमानों की संपत्ति की रक्षा करते हैं और उसे बढ़ाते हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1381
स नो वेदो अमात्यम् अग्नी रक्षतु शन्तमः. उतास्मान् पात्वँन्हसः. उत ब्रुवन्तु जन्तव उद् अग्निर् वृत्रहाजनि. धन¤जयो रणे रणे
Utåsmån påtva~nhasa¨. May Agni, highest giver of peace and comfort, protect our wealth and knowledge and our family and friends of the home and also guard us against all sin and sinners. (Rg. 7-15-3) œxŸÜ¡ÿÊv ⁄UáÊy⁄UáÊH§1382H Uta bruvantu jantava ud agnir vætrahåjani. Dhana¤jayo raƒe raƒe. And let the people praise and celebrate Agni who dispels the clouds of darkness, creates and protects the wealth of the charitable yajamana, and gives us victory in the battles for wealth one after another.
हे अग्निदेव, आप हमें धन, ज्ञान और परिवार की रक्षा करें तथा पापों से बचाएं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1383
अग्ने युΔक्ष्वा हि ये तवाश्वासो देव साधवः. अरं वहन्त्याशवः
Ara≈ vahantyå‹ava¨. Agni, leading light of knowledge and power, generous creator and giver, yoke those motive powers of yours to the chariot which are best and fastest and which transport you to the destination of your love and passion gracefully without fail.
हे अग्निदेव, अपने उन श्रेष्ठ और तीव्र साधनों को जोते, जो आपको प्रेम और आनंद के गंतव्य तक सुचारू रूप से ले जाते हैं।
Chapter 11 · Verse 1384
अच्छा नो यह्या वहाभि प्रयाँन्सि वीतये. Å देवान्त् सोमपीतये
Å devånt somap∂taye. Agni, leading light of knowledge, generous pioneer, come fast in all your glory, bring us the dearest powers for sustenance and advancement for the sake of peace and well-being, and bring the noble brilliancies along to celebrate success with the delight of soma.
हे ज्ञान के प्रकाशक, हे उदार अग्रगामी अग्नि देव, अपनी समस्त महिमा के साथ शीघ्रता से पधारें, और हमें शांति व कल्याण के लिए पोषण और उन्नति हेतु प्रियतम शक्तियाँ प्रदान करें।
